Luey Gutierrez

serves as the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director and Operations Coordinator at LGBT Detroit. He began his employment with the organization in 2020 and has been a committed team member for five years. Prior to his current role, Luey demonstrated his dedication through two years of volunteer service with the organization. He brings extensive experience supporting high-level executives and administrators, combining strong technical proficiency with administrative expertise across roles at LGBT Detroit, General Motors, DTE Energy, and a Detroit-based Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Driven by a passion for service, education, and advocacy, Luey remains dedicated to advancing and empowering the LGBTQ+ community, with a particular focus on promoting equal access to healthcare for all.
